During the last few years we happened to buy some old collections with portraits from the 16th to the 19th century. Shown on these portraits are members of the european nobility and clergy, military leaders, politicians and revolutionaries, but mostly scientists, poets, musicians and artists of the fine arts, which means painters, sculptors, architects and designers, and also printers of books, copper engravings etc.
Our catalog Nr. 101 showes a selection of this stock, each print is carefully described. We send copies off on request.
